Sri lanka 8 Days trip diary:From Day 5 to Day 8
Day5βπ΅ The journey is long today, departing at 9 am straight for Yala, with a stop at Damro Tea Factory for an hour to buy souvenirs and have a meal. The Tea cake is a must-try and very delicious. β¨ For those who enjoy tea, gift them with Pok; for those who don't, tea bags or Pekoe for milk tea π§ are great options. Check in to Yala Hilton before nightfall (one of the world's most beautiful Hiltons, review in the compilation) or a similar alternative. Day6βπ Early morning Safari , for detailed guide, see the Safari section in the compilation. Return for a nap and then depart for Galle, checking in to Ahungalla Heritage Hotel. Day7βπ Head out in the afternoon for a stunning half-day tour of Galle, detailed guide can be found in the compilation. The hotel to Galle is a 1-hour drive but features a scenic coastal highway π£οΈ. Day8βπ After checking out, take the sea-view train , the most beautiful 20-minute stretch is enough, from Mount Lavinia to Kollupitiya, which is four stations, arrange for the driver to take you to and from the station. πIn Colombo, you can visit the museum , and for dinner, try the Ministry of Crab , a Michelin three-star restaurant and one of Asia's top 50.
