🌍 Itinerary: Day 1: 🛬 Arrive in Colombo ➡️ Gangaramaya Temple 🕍 ➡️ Sigiriya As soon as we got off the plane, we headed straight to the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo. This temple, which blends modern and ancient architecture, is truly steeped in history! Then we went to Sigiriya, climbed the Lion Rock, and overlooked the entire plain—it was breathtakingly beautiful! Day 2: 🏞️ Sigiriya ➡️ Dambulla Cave Temple 🕍 ➡️ Kandy In the morning, we visited the Dambulla Cave Temple, a World Heritage Site with Buddhist carvings and murals that are simply captivating! Afterwards, we proceeded to Kandy to pay homage at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, feeling the solemnity and sanctity of the place. Day 3: 🏖️ Southern Coast ➡️ Whale Watching in Mirissa 🐋 ➡️ Unawatuna Beach We headed to the southern coast and embarked on a whale-watching trip in Mirissa. The experience of seeing whales up close was exhilarating!
