Sri lanka 8 Days travel--Day 2 to Day 5:From Negombo to Ella
Climate☁️: Sri Lanka has a tropical monsoon climate, with no distinct seasons, only dry and wet seasons. The wet season is from May to August and November to February, while the rest of the time is considered the dry season. The best time to travel might be in March and April each year! Transportation🚌: Public transportation in Sri Lanka is passable; if you have ample time, you can try pure public bus or train travel. For those who want to worry less, it's better to rent a car🚗. You can also try renting a tuk-tuk🛺, as I've seen foreigners driving them themselves. Day2: Negombo Fish Market—Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage—Sigiriya Lion Rock🌄 Day3: Dambulla Cave Temple—Kandy Lake—Royal Botanic Garden—Kandyan culture dance—Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic🌄 Day4: Kandy—Tea Factory—Nuwara Eliya—Pink Post Office Day5: Horton Plains trekking—Highland tea train OHIYA—Ella ELLA—Nine Arches Bridge—Little Adam's Peak🌄 Tips⚠️: 1️⃣ The sunsets in Sri Lanka are beautiful; the top of Lion Rock and the banks of Kandy Lake are great places to watch them! The dogs on Lion Rock are helpful in chasing away monkeys🐶👍🏻. 2️⃣ Remember to wear a raincoat or bring an umbrella at Horton Plains; I walked for 2 hours in the rain during the 3-hour trek. 3️⃣ Yala National Park has many animals, but the number of Sri Lankan leopards🐆 is in the single digits, so the probability of encountering one is low; don't expect too much! #Lion Rock# Yala National Park#Horton Plains National Park#Negombo#Ella#Sri lanka #trip diary# travel guide#Sri lanka life
