St. Louis 2-Day Itinerary: Must-Eat & Must-See Spots!
When friends visited, I searched for recommendations but found most guides lacking—so I made my own! Here’s a curated list of the best eats and attractions, plus bonus restaurant recs at the end. 📍 Downtown (Walkable & Easy Parking) 1️⃣ Gateway Arch National Park The "most casual" national park, but a must-visit icon! 2️⃣ Union Station (Free!) Even more stunning than NYC’s Grand Central Terminal—enter through the Hilton Hotel. Extras: Aquarium (paid), Ferris wheel & carousel (short walk). 🌳 Forest Park (Central West End) – All Free! 1️⃣ Forest Park Larger than Central Park, with gorgeous scenery. 2️⃣ Saint Louis Zoo A highlight! Features dolphins, polar bears, and lazy, sunbathing animals. 3️⃣ History Museum & Art Museum Houses Chinese porcelain and paintings—worth a peek if time allows. 4️⃣ Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis *(13-min walk)* Top 3 most beautiful cathedral in North America—don’t skip! 🍽️ Food Recs 🍜 Chinese: Cate Zone: Northeast Chinese cuisine. Chili Spot: Hunan-style spicy dishes (try the stir-fried pork kidney!). Tai Ke: Taiwanese comfort food—solid wok dishes. 🧋 Boba (Matcha/Happy Tea-Level Quality): Corner 17 (long waits but fresh noodles!) Cube Tea 🍖 Korean BBQ: Joo Joo Soul Garden (AYCE grilled meat!) Final Thoughts: St. Louis won me over—great food, free world-class attractions, and walkable charm. Who knew? 😍 #StLouis #TravelGuide #HiddenGems #FoodieParadise #WeekendGetaway
