St. Louis Yunnan Rice Noodles | Yun Wei Guan 🍜
Who knew St. Louis finally has Yunnan-style crossing-the-bridge rice noodles! This spot just opened a couple days ago, so I went to check it out today. It’s on Olive Boulevard—spacious interior, nice decor, and the overall atmosphere is really pleasant. I ordered three dishes: the Fatty Beef Original Bone Broth Set (for making crossing-the-bridge noodles yourself), a pot of Sour Cabbage Fish Rice Noodles (pre-cooked), and Beef Rib Rice Noodles 🍜. The flavors were great! The only downside was the wait—we waited over 30 minutes for our food. But the broth was rich and savory, portions were huge with plenty of toppings, so it was totally satisfying. The fatty beef was fresh, the beef ribs were tender and flavorful (stewed until they fell off the bone). Finishing a big hot bowl of noodles left me feeling so cozy and full! For the crossing-the-bridge rice noodles set, all the toppings come in separate small plates—you add them to the hot broth yourself to cook. The pre-cooked options (like the sour cabbage fish one) come ready-to-eat in a pot, with the same generous toppings. You can also add extra ingredients you like if you want! 🍜 Yummy Rice Noodle (Yun Wei Guan) 📍 8406 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132 #StLouisFoodie #StLouisEats #StLouisLife #StLouisTravel #StLouisChineseFood #WashU #StLouisNewRestaurant #StLouisStudyAbroad #StLouisRestaurants #CrossingTheBridgeRiceNoodles
