Stepping into a Gallery-like Restaurant in SoHo 🎆
📍 Manuela 130 Prince St, New York, NY 10012 I stumbled upon a truly artistic gem in SoHo, a restaurant that feels like stepping into a gallery. The space is adorned with furniture and installations designed by artists, like Mary Heilmann’s floating tile tabletops and Mika Rottenberg’s chandeliers. It’s incredibly beautiful and romantic, and the dishes are just as delightful! 🌟 Tuna Carpaccio 🗽 The thinly sliced tuna for the appetizer was incredibly tender, with a refreshing tang from the pickled chicken fat mushrooms. The flavors were layered and so satisfying! 🍣 Dayboat Scallops Honey Glazed Hudson Valley Duck Breast 🗽Both main courses were fantastic! The scallops were perfectly cooked, with a fragrant corn accompaniment. But I have to say, the duck breast was my favorite—so tender and with a perfectly balanced seasoning. 🦆 Fig Bakewell The dessert fig tart was a hit! The almond pastry crust paired with the soft, juicy figs was just the right amount of sweetness, never cloying. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal! 🍰 #NYCFood #NYCDatingSpots 🗽🌟
