Stockholm's Southern Island Pork Cold Noodles with Rice Noodles
๐After a long day of classes and an outdoor teaching session at Moderna, I definitely deserved a good meal! Following a friend's recommendation, we explored a Vietnamese restaurant called Viet Kitchen, located in the market next to Medborgarplatsen station on Southern Island. Although I'm not a big fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! ๐ Bun Cha ๐๐๐๐ ๐This dish comes with grilled pork slices, vegetables, and cold rice noodles. The accompanying sauce is tangy and sweet, very refreshing, making it perfect for a summer bowl! The portion size is also quite suitable; it's definitely enough for an average appetite. ๐ Pho Bo ๐๐๐ ๐This is the classic clear broth beef pho. Personally, I'm not a fan, but my boyfriend loves it and says the serving size is generous. However, a friend who ordered this and has a larger appetite mentioned they were still hungry after finishing it, so consider that when deciding whether to order. ๐ ๐The restaurant is small and tucked away in the basement corner of a building, so it might take a bit of searching to find it the first time. If you enjoy Vietnamese flavors, this place is quite authentic. I also noticed a friend's order of Pho Bo Kho, which looked like a braised beef noodle soup, smelled very fragrant, and had a large piece of meat that left my friend very satisfied. ๐ #LifeInSweden #StudyingInSweden #NordicLife #ExploreWithMe #WeekendExploration #Stockholm #StockholmFood #StockholmExplore #VietnameseCuisine #VietnameseNoodles ### name:Viet kitchen address: Sรถderhallarna 46, 118 72 Stockholm type:place ###
