I’ve sacrificed so much for this food! 😭 To try the famous Adel’s Famous Halal Food truck, I waited in the pouring rain for an hour. But it was worth it! When you think of New York, you think of diverse food trucks on every street corner. I’ve never tried one due to hygiene concerns, but this Halal truck is just too famous to miss! 💡 Quick Fact: “Halal” means “lawful” or “permissible” in Arabic, referring to food and practices that comply with Islamic dietary laws. In terms of food, it strictly meets hygiene and safety standards, with ingredients and cooking methods all adhering to Halal requirements. 🍽️ Must-try Dishes: 1️⃣ Chicken & Lamb Over Rice 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 $9 The chicken is tender and juicy, served with fragrant rice (go for the Yellow Rice), and topped with the shop’s special white and red sauces. It’s heavenly! The lamb is also incredibly flavorful, not gamey at all, and pairs perfectly with the sauces.
