Strolling in Kyoto's Nanajo District 🌸🚶♀️
🌺🌿🍃 From the hotel near Kyoto Station, take a short stroll to the Nanajo and Kamogawa area. The morning by the Kamogawa River is a perfect spot for exercise and contemplation. 🌿 🌺🌿🍃 🍃 By chance, while looking at the map, I noticed that Sanjusangendo is nearby. The Buddhist hall is divided into 33 bays by pillars on the front, 🌺🌿🍃 with the central statue known as "Eleven-Faced Thousand-Armed Thousand-Eyed Avalokitesvara". Hence, it's commonly referred to as "Sanjusangendo". 🏯🙏 🌺🌿🍃 The construction and restoration of this hall have spanned over 700 years, bearing the imagination and exquisite craftsmanship of our ancestors. 🌺🌿🍃 Across the street, the Kyoto National Museum is currently closed, with only two gardens open to the public. 🌳🌺 During the autumn leaf season, it's also a time for leisurely strolls. 🌺🌿🍃 Kyoto in the fall is filled with scenes where modernity and history blend beautifully. 🍁🏰 #AestheticsOfLife 🌸 #KyotoJapan 🍁 #Sanjusangendo 🏯
