🌞 Stunning Spanish Restaurant in Santa Barbara: Loquita

I spent a weekend getaway in Santa Barbara exploring the Old Mission, the courthouse, and Stearns Wharf. SB is such a beautiful city with such a relaxed and comfortable vibe — I only had half a day there this time, but I definitely plan to stay longer next time! Loquita offers a gorgeous setting, especially the outdoor area — full of sunlight, plants, and charming decor 🌿🌼. This place specializes in Spanish tapas and paella, with a wide variety of dishes perfect for sharing with friends. 🫒 Tapas Jamón Tasting: Features three types: Serrano ham, Iberico ham, and chorizo, served with tomato bread. The Serrano was a bit richer in fat, while the Iberico chorizo reminded me of Chinese but with a lighter texture. Beef Carpaccio: Thinly sliced raw beef seasoned with vinegar, shredded cheese, and dressing. So tender — I loved it! 🥩💖 Champiñones: King oyster mushrooms and chives with vinegar seasoning. Just okay — you can skip this one. 🥘 Paella Mariscos: Seafood paella with a variety of fresh seafood. The black color isn’t from squid ink but from charcoal — a special twist by the chef! 🦑🍚 🍮 Postres (Dessert) Basque Cheesecake: Rich, dense, and creamy — a must-try if you’re a cheesecake fan! 🧀🍰 🍹 Cócteles (Cocktails) El Facil: Made with tequila and mezcal — a little spicy and very tasty! 🌶️🥂 Valle De Ordesa: Gin-based and beautifully presented. Recommended by our waitress — not too strong and super refreshing! 💙✨ 📍 Loquita Santa Barbara 202 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 Perfect for a sunny afternoon or a cozy evening with friends! 👯‍♀️🌇 #VibeDining #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGem #SpanishFood #LifeInUSA #StudyAbroadLife #WeekendGetaway #LosAngeles #SantaBarbara
