š Sunshine Coast Day 2 | Forest, Village & Starry Seaside
šæ First Stop: Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve (Maleny) Stepping into this ancient rainforest felt like entering another dimension of time. ⢠1km walking trail through lush, humid jungle ā short but magical, with towering canopies blocking nearly all sunlight. The air was unbelievably fresh. ⢠The second-floor viewing deck at the entrance offers sweeping views of the Glass House Mountains, especially Mount Beerwahāperfect for photos! šø ⢠Donāt miss the quirky little art shop nearby. The highlight? A vintage phone booth where visitors can "share stories"āa quietly beautiful tradition. š„ Maleny Dairies (Milk-Themed Park) Heard you can tour and taste fresh dairy hereābut check opening hours! (I missed it, sadly.) š” Second Stop: Montville ā A Slice of Europe in the Hills This charming alpine-style village completely stole my heart: ⢠Quaint, artsy streets lined with boutique shops and galleriesālike stepping into a postcard. ⢠Time moves slower here. Lunch at Montville Cafe Bar & Grill (their beef ribs are a must-try!), enjoyed on a balcony overlooking the village. ⢠By 4 PM, the whole town "shuts down"āshops close, streets quieten. It felt like witnessing the ideal slow life. š Detour: The Big Pineapple A quick stop at this iconic giant pineapple modelākitschy but fun for a photo op! š Final Stop: Noosa Beach at Sunset ⢠Surfing? Go earlierāwaves grow powerful and intimidating by night. ⢠I laid out a picnic mat, watching stars emerge as the sea turned eerily calm yet fathomless. ⢠Ended the day with a peaceful stroll through Noosaās twinkling streets. #SunshineCoast #BrisbaneDayTrips #Montville #Maleny #Noosa #SlowTravel #AustraliaTravel
