Sushi Ishikawa | New York's Creative and Fancy Japanese Cuisine (2)๐
๐๐ธAt this restaurant, you rarely see fish served alone. The chef always adds a variety of ingredients on top, like caviar, sea urchin, black truffle, and even gold leaf. The sweet shrimp isnโt served plain either; itโs topped with mayonnaise and grilled to perfection, fitting the restaurantโs style and taste. ๐ My favorite was the fatty tuna topped with black truffleโa truly unique combination of two of my favorite elements. It was a special experience the first time I tried it. ๐ There was also a double-layered combination of medium and fatty tuna, topped with caviar and gold leaf. ๐๐ธ It was both delicious and visually stunning, perfect for someone who loves surprises and fancy presentations. ๐ The hand roll with salmon roe bursting with flavor and topped with sea urchin was incredibly fragrant. For dessert, they served a matcha pudding ๐ต with a strong matcha flavor that wasnโt overly sweet. It was a safe and satisfying choice to end the meal. #Omakase #NYCRestaurantHopping ๐๐
