Sushi Noz | New York Two-Michelin-Star Omakase 🌟
Sushi Noz is a two-Michelin-star Omakase that has very polarizing reviews online. Most negative comments focus on the value for money and the chef’s temperament. However, my personal experience with the spring menu was really great—I even thought it was better than experiences at Yoshino and Masa. Glass shrimp with purple urchin sea urchin 🦐—an unbeatable combination with an explosion of freshness and sweetness. Steamed white fish with soft eggs and sweet peas 🫛—simple but full of spring vibes. Grilled cherry trout 🌸—crispy skin and tender meat, with both jelly-like texture and the aroma of grilled fish oil. Steamed amberjack with fried cherry shrimp and spring bamboo shoots 🐟—the freshness of the fish pairs perfectly with the oily fragrance, simple yet rich in flavor and very impressive. For sushi, the Edomae style is truly top-notch. The fish and the vinegared rice are perfectly integrated, and the quality and handling of the fish are top-tier. The taste lingers long after you finish eating, and the portions are generous. The Miyazaki mango with milk ice cream 🥭 is simply sweet and delicious. Both the small dishes and sushi are perfect, and they pair really well with Krug and sake. The chef is also very enthusiastic. Although it’s $600 per person without drinks, I still recommend it. #food #exploration #NewYork #Michelin 🌇
