🌭First, the verdict: Not bad at all!!! The flavors are dominated by spices and chili 🌶️! A rich South Asian taste! It’s really not bad, but it’s for those who appreciate it!!!🍄 This place is mostly frequented by locals. The staff are helpful, especially for first-timers, offering recommendations and introductions! They’re also friendly, with decent service—always refilling water for you!🍍 A must-order for every table is egg hoppers, which are like rice batter pancakes shaped into a bowl, with a soft-fried egg 🍳 in the middle! We ordered the mix sambol plate. 🍣 The staff lady explained that the spiciness of the dried chili 🌶️ "depends"—after eating several, I realized it doesn’t depend on the person, but each chili has a different heat level, haha! Spicy and crispy; if you can handle spice, don’t miss it! 🍔 The dry seasoning is quite bland, but the others are good! Rolling them into the hopper lets you enjoy a bit of DIY fun!😁 The crispy pork belly 🐷 is just average! At a steep 58 AUD 🔪, it’s not great value!🥙 The base is curry, though—dipping roti in it works perfectly! 🍳 The pan roll from the snacks menu is delicious! A crispy roll with curried potatoes 🥔 —loved it! Be cautious with the mixed grain rice 🍚! It’s way too hard! Each grain is totally separate, haha! 🍇🍇Eating the chili made me sweat! As someone who loves spicy food, I found it super satisfying!🧀 💌 Lankan Filling Station 📍 Ground Floor/58 Riley St, Darlinghurst NSW 2010 #ShoutOutToLocalFood #SydneyLife #StudyInSydney #SydneyFoodExploration #SydneyFood #SydneyEatsAndEntertainment
