Tōdai-ji 🙏🌸

🙏 Inside the hall, there stands a towering 14.7-meter-high bronze statue of the Vairocana Buddha, 🌸🌺 serenely seated at the center with a kind expression and profound eyes that inspire awe. 🌸🌺To the left and right of the Buddha, the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha and the Wheel of Wishes Avalokitesvara quietly wait, 🌸🌺as if they could cleanse the dust of the soul. 🕊️ 👀 Looking up, the "Karahafu" ornamentation on the Great Buddha Hall is unique, a distinct mark of Edo-period architecture. 🌸🌺 Although somewhat intricate, it has a charm of its own, making one marvel at the exquisite skills of Japanese craftsmen. 🖌️ 👣 Strolling through the temple, ancient structures like the South Gate, Nigatsudo Hall, 🌸🌺and Migasido Hall are scattered, each exuding the fragrance of history. 🌸🌺Especially the South Gate, standing at 21 meters tall with the fierce and mighty Vajra statues on either side, 🌸🌺conveying an indescribable sense of power. 💪 #Nara🌿🍃
