Table by Bruno Verjus - One of the World's Top 50 Restaurants 🌟
Paris's Michelin two-star Table by Bruno Verjus was listed among the world's Top 50 restaurants last year, ranking tenth. 🥇 💷 £400 for over a dozen dishes. The price is not cheap, but the ingredients they use are truly excellent, focusing on fresh, high-quality ingredients that require only the simplest cooking methods. They open at 7:30 pm, and we managed to get a reservation for a weekday evening right when they open. We started with the first dish after ten minutes and noticed that someone was still delivering that night's ingredients, haha. A few memorable dishes: 📍 Fried sea anemone, which I had just seen at the museum in the afternoon and unexpectedly had for dinner, haha. Baby eel, with a unique texture. 🏠Bamboo shoots, incredibly fresh and tender. Their signature dish, fresh live lobster soaked in 40-degree butter. When eating it, I marveled at how they could control the heat so well, feeling as if they had evenly warmed the lobster just a bit, to a perfect one-minute cooked doneness. Then they told me it hadn't been cooked at all, just soaked in lobster butter, haha. The lobster itself was excellent; if the ingredients weren't top-notch, this approach would definitely fail. The final main course, grilled langostine, was my first time trying a whole spiny lobster, and it was delicious! Lastly, I recommend one of their sweet wines, which we found to be the best dessert wine we've ever had. Upon checking online, it's not expensive, so I'll definitely buy a bottle for special occasions in the future. 🍽️Overall, their ingredients are excellent, the seasoning and side dishes are well-balanced, delicious and not greasy. The head chef is friendly and hospitable, and the restaurant has been open for 10 years. #ParisMichelin #MichelinTwoStars #ParisFoodExploration #Worlds50BestRestaurants
