Tadao Ando Never Disappoints โญ๏ธ | Bourse de Commerce, Paris
I had high expectations for the Bourse de Commerce โ so high that I even made a reservation at the top-floor restaurant ๐ด, determined to fully experience the beauty of this building. When I visited, it was quite crowded ๐ฅ, and the mirrored exhibition hall lost a little of its magic. But fortunately, there was no time limit, and with shoe covers on ๐งฆ, I could stay as long as I wanted. This allowed me to patiently wait for gaps between groups of visitors and really enjoy the space. Midday on a sunny day โ๏ธ is the best time to visit. Sunlight pours directly down from the circular glass roof, then reflects off the mirrors ๐, scattering into beautiful light patterns on the concrete walls. Looking down from above gives you an even deeper appreciation of Tadao Ando's design aesthetic. ๐ญ The circular eaves emphasize the glass ceiling structure, seamlessly blending French classicism and Japanese minimalism ๐ค. It feels like a beautifully frosted cake placed on a handmade ceramic plate ๐ฐ โ a delightful mix of contrast and harmony. The rooftop restaurant Halle aux Grains ๐ฝ is worth a try if you're into French cuisine. The ambiance is stunning. I particularly loved the windows on the restaurant's corridor ๐, which offer an excellent view of the arched ceiling murals. #Paris #ParisTravel #BoursedeCommerce #TadaoAndo #HiddenGemsParis #TravelFrance #ExhibitionStyle #ArtGalleryDay #ParisianRestaurants #boursedecommerce ๐
