Tadao Ando Never Disappoints βοΈ | Bourse de Commerce, Paris
I had high expectations for the Bourse de Commerce β so high that I even made a reservation at the top-floor restaurant π΄, determined to fully experience the beauty of this building. When I visited, it was quite crowded π₯, and the mirrored exhibition hall lost a little of its magic. But fortunately, there was no time limit, and with shoe covers on π§¦, I could stay as long as I wanted. This allowed me to patiently wait for gaps between groups of visitors and really enjoy the space. Midday on a sunny day βοΈ is the best time to visit. Sunlight pours directly down from the circular glass roof, then reflects off the mirrors π, scattering into beautiful light patterns on the concrete walls. Looking down from above gives you an even deeper appreciation of Tadao Ando's design aesthetic. π The circular eaves emphasize the glass ceiling structure, seamlessly blending French classicism and Japanese minimalism π€. It feels like a beautifully frosted cake placed on a handmade ceramic plate π° β a delightful mix of contrast and harmony. The rooftop restaurant Halle aux Grains π½ is worth a try if you're into French cuisine. The ambiance is stunning. I particularly loved the windows on the restaurant's corridor π, which offer an excellent view of the arched ceiling murals. #Paris #ParisTravel #BoursedeCommerce #TadaoAndo #HiddenGemsParis #TravelFrance #ExhibitionStyle #ArtGalleryDay #ParisianRestaurants #boursedecommerce π
