Taking dogs to Europe ~
π Taking the opportunity to record our DIY road trip from the UK to France with our dog in August 2022 ~ The whole process was DIY, and if you have any questions, feel free to DM me haha, let's all travel happily with our dogs ~ Our dog weighed 18kg at the time and couldn't fly with us... You can also take a ferry from the UK to Europe, but it generally takes a long time and requires an overnight stay, so we finally decided to drive through the Euro Tunnel... 𧩠Dog documents & information β£οΈ You need to get a rabies vaccine a few dozen days in advance (the rabies vaccine is valid for 2-3 years, remember to keep the vaccine record, you can reuse this record for future trips to Europe) β£οΈ Within ten days before departure, go to the vet for a physical examination and obtain a Health Certificate (you need to do this every time you go to Europe, as there are no longer pet passports) β£οΈ Within 48 hours before returning to the UK, you need to take your dog to the vet (in France) where you started to take deworming medicine and have another check-up. The European vet will fill in the details of the deworming medicine taken by the dog before returning to the UK on the Health Certificate #Traveling with dogs #My travel diary #Recommended travel check-in spots #Guide #Europe #Travel
