Takumi Izakaya – Another Hidden Japanese Gem in Vegas! 🎌✨

Tired of long waits for food in Vegas? I discovered this underrated spot thanks to a Xiaohongshu recommendation! I tried booking for Christmas dinner just one day in advance – and scored a reservation! 🎄🎉 We arrived half an hour early after watching a show, called a ride, and were seated in just 5 minutes! 🚗💨 Even on Christmas Day, they had Happy Hour – a whole bottle of sake for just $4.5! 😱 (We couldn’t stop laughing at my husband who bought a $30 Fat Tuesday drink at the casino before heading here 🍹😆) The menu isn’t as extensive as Izakaya Go’s, but there’s still plenty to choose from. The sashimi was super fresh, and the okonomiyaki (savory pancake) was perfectly seasoned! 🍣🥞 Only the ramen was a bit too salty for my taste – but I fished out the noodles and ate them dry, and it worked! 😂 We ordered the Sashimi & Sushi Special Set, but the sushi came out much later than the rest. The staff was super kind – when we added oysters later, the waiter gave us an extra one as an apology! 🦪💖 (Though tbh, the oysters were just okay – nothing extraordinary.) The best part? The total bill after tax was just $90! 🧾 Even with round-trip rideshare costs, it was still cheaper than eating on the Strip – plus, no crazy wait times! 🏙️💫 A cozy, budget-friendly escape from the Vegas crowds – highly recommend! #LasVegas #VegasFoodFinds #HiddenGems #IzakayaVibes #JapaneseFood #BudgetEats
