Tasmania Road Trip | Ross Village & Launceston | Day 15 🚗💨
Day 15 of our epic Tasmanian self-drive adventure! 📍Bread + Butter ☕🥐 ✔ Legendary local café—their croissants are next-level! ✔ Opens early at 7AM (perfect for road-trippers). ✔ Must-try: Original & nut-filled croissants 🌰💛 📍Ross Village (A Step Back in Time!) 🏡✨ Ross Bakery 🍞: Supposedly the inspiration for a Studio Ghibli film bakery! 😍 (Closed on public holidays—missed the famous vanilla slice 😢) Ross Bridge 🌉: Tasmania’s 3rd oldest bridge, built by convicts. Stroll around the riverside park. Tasmanian Wool Centre 🧶: Adorable wool museum + shop—bought a handmade beanie! 🎩 Quiet & charming—perfect for a slow walk. Detoured to Campbell Town for antique shops on the way back. 📍Cataract Gorge Reserve ⛰️🚡 ✔ 10-min drive from Launceston—gorgeous cliffs & walking trails. ✔ Outdoor pool (swim if you dare! 🏊♂️). ✔ Must-do: Scenic chairlift ride with epic views! 📍National Automobile Museum of Tasmania 🚗🏁 ✔ Small but impressive! Vintage cars + race cars 🏎️. ✔ Bought a keychain (my first Tassie souvenir!). 📍Me Wah Restaurant 🥢🍜 ✔ BEST Chinese food in Launceston! ✔ Fast service, salty-but-delicious dishes (we devoured 4 dishes + soup 🍚). ✔ "Wish this was in Sydney—we’d eat here weekly!" Final Thoughts: Launceston is underrated! Huge city greenery, great food & nearby gems like Ross. Would 100% return! 🌿❤️ (More Tassie adventures coming soon!) #NewYearTravel #Wanderlust #TasmaniaRoadTrip #Launceston #RossTasmania
