Tennessee State Capitol Stroll!

📍 Tennessee State Capitol I didn’t expect the State Capitol to be closed for interior tours on a Saturday, so I just took a walk along the shaded paths around the outside. 💗 The granite building shone with a gray-blue glow in the sunlight after the rain, and two squirrels on the steps weren’t afraid of people at all 🐿️. ✅After circling the building, I discovered the Tennessee Centennial Monument standing on the side. Heading north through the small square led to the State Supreme Court, with its solemn Roman colonnade. A local I met mentioned that there’s a farmers’ market at the Capitol Square every Wednesday noon, where fresh honey and handmade jams are quite popular—I’ll have to try it if I get the chance.🥳 #NashvilleHistoricArchitecture #CityWalk #StateCapitol
