Tha Phraya in New York 🌟

Tha Phraya 📍 1553 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10028 It’s just a ten-minute walk from the Metropolitan Museum. The restaurant is already decked out with Christmas decorations 🎄, making it super festive. The overall flavor profile is quite light, not the kind of Thai food that’s overly spicy or strong. 🥘 Neur Toon Mor Fa (Thai Beef Pot) (Highly Recommended) This is my favorite! It features beef shank, which is braised until it’s incredibly tender and melts in your mouth. It’s also the spiciest dish we ordered (mildly spicy), but you can request it without spice if you prefer. A hot bowl of soup on a cold day is just so satisfying! 🍲 🍳 Crab Fried Rice Lava (Crab Meat Omelette Rice) Almost every table ordered this! The eggs are incredibly soft and tender. It comes with a tangy sauce that, when drizzled over the rice, makes it absolutely perfect and not greasy at all. 🍳 🦐 Goong Karee (Curry Scrambled Eggs with Shrimp) The eggs are finely scrambled, making the dish very creamy and perfect for pairing with rice. 🍳 🍜 Pad See Ew (Stir-Fried Rice Noodles) A pretty standard dish, at a normal level of quality. 🍜 🎅 Christmas Markets If you have time, check out the Christmas markets at Bryant Park or Union Square. They have lots of food and handmade crafts. It’s crowded, so it won’t feel too cold! 🎄 #New York #New York Food #New York Life 🌟
