Thai Restaurant in North America ๐ Lotus of Siam๐Las Vegas
Highly recommended! Located in Las Vegas โ the legendary "Best Thai in North America" truly lives up to its name. When you think of Thai food, there's often a stereotype of small, casual eateries (except spots like Thai Villa in NYC). But here โ from the moment you step in โ you feel the elevated vibe: elegant decor, substantial menu, beautifully plated dishes, and well-trained staff. They even vacuum under the tables between seatings โ impressive attention to detail! Of course, the real star is the food. The menu is extensive and impressive โ bilingual (English/Thai), with clear distinctions between Northern and Southern Thai cuisine. Authentic, flavorful, and comprehensive โ itโs now my new all-time favorite, replacing Wondee Siam. Must-try dishes (real highlights!): ๐ Drunken Noodles with Seafood Many recommend it โ itโs good, generous with seafood, but compared to others, slightly less wow. Given their large portions, two people could skip this and focus on the gems below ๐ ๐ Garlic Shrimp A must-order โ seriously delicious. This dish is way better than its simple name suggests. ๐ Crispy Duck with Panang Curry (found in the Chefโs Choice section โ around $30+) Mind-blowing โ best crispy duck Iโve ever had. Perfectly fried โ not greasy, no gaminess โ and the curry is incredible. ๐ Tom Yum Soup with Seafood Spicy, tangy, aromatic โ the more you eat, the more you crave. Very appetizing โ if you canโt handle heat, ask for less spice, or you might suffer ๐ Soup doesnโt come with rice, so order a side of steamed rice. ๐ Mango Sticky Rice Why isnโt everyone talking about this?? Best mango sticky rice Iโve ever had โ the fragrant sticky rice is next level. Other dishes worth exploring (likely solid): Various curries โ if their Panang is that good, the others wonโt disappoint. Fish pots โ marked M.P. (Market Price), meaning theyโre made with fresh seafood. #LasVegasEats #LotusOfSiam #ThaiFood #BestThaiInUSA #VegasFoodie #MustTry #FoodTravel
