Thanksgiving “Special Forces” Itinerary 🚀
After three years, I revisited Orlando's Universal and Disney! Day 1: 🏰 No Lightning Lane, walked 30,000 steps across three Disney parks (MK + AK + Epcot) in one day. Day 2: ⚡ Bought Universal 1-Day, 2-Park EE + Express Pass (with park-hopping), conquered Islands of Adventure + Universal Studios. Rode Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure three times and Revenge of the Mummy three times—totally worth the Express Pass price! 😆 Day 3: 🎢 No Express Pass at Epic Universe—legs were practically giving out by then, felt like crawling on the ground 🥲. Day 4: 🛍️ Went on a massive shopping spree at the outlets. Stats: Averaged 30,000 steps daily, woke up at 6 AM, left by 7 AM, returned to the hotel by 11 PM, slept around 2 AM. Exhausting? Absolutely. But it was incredibly fun! 😌 Contrary to expectations, Thanksgiving Day itself was surprisingly uncrowded, and the weekend after felt like normal traffic. As a thrill-ride enthusiast, Universal’s rides are way more exciting than Disney’s. The Harry Potter areas across all three Universal parks are breathtakingly immersive—especially the Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe, which is ten times more stunning in person than in photos! 🧙♂️✨ Disney’s wildest ride, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, was fun but (IMO) less thrilling than Revenge of the Mummy. That said, Disney’s scale is massive—perfect for leisurely exploring, eating, and photo-ops (Epcot is a foodie’s dream 🍴). Just being in the parks feels nostalgic and magical. Verdict: Had a blast—definitely coming back! 🌟 #HarryPotter #DisneyWorld #Orlando #OrlandoTravel #UniversalStudios #CountingDownToNextVacation
