Thanksgiving Trip from Seattle

Usually just a cute Bavarian-style village, but once winter arrives and snow blankets everything ❄️, it transforms into a “colorful storybook town nestled under snowy peaks.” Walking out of the hotel in the morning felt like stepping into a painting—absolutely breathtaking 🏔️✨ The town was filled with big families traveling together, kids running around in the snow 🎿, and people vacationing with their furry friends 🐶. Laughter and warmth filled the air, breathing life into this winter wonderland. We found a highly-rated Italian spot on Google: Larch Handcrafted Pasta & cocktails—delicious food! 🍝 (We arrived around 4 PM and got seated easily, but if you’re coming during peak hours, definitely call a few days ahead to reserve.) 🚗 Driving Tip: Take US Highway 2—no tolls, and the views along the way are stunning! As you approach town, you’ll pass snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, and streams 🏞️… at moments, it felt just like stepping into a scene from The Chronicles of Narnia.
