Thanksgiving Week (1)🦃
I finally visited Emilio’s Ballato, a place I’ve had on my list for a long time. 🍃🌸The restaurant’s decor wasn’t as fancy as I imagined; instead, it had a cozy, family-restaurant vibe. The chipped walls and celebrity photos hanging everywhere tell a story of its age. 🌟The Tagliatelle alla bolognese had a meat sauce made from a mix of pork and beef, which was delicious wrapped around the slightly undercooked flat pasta. The Petto Di Pollo Alla Parmigiana was another standout. When it arrived, I was taken aback by the portion size. 🍃🌸 The whole chicken breast was breaded, fried, and then topped with tomato sauce and cheese. 🌟It’s essentially an Italian fried chicken cutlet—simple yet authentic, and it was my first time trying it. After the meal, I wanted to check out the dessert menu, but the waiter took a while to come over. 🍃🌸 When it was finally our turn, we just went for the tiramisu. The top layer of cocoa powder had a few small chocolate beans mixed in, adding some texture and fun to the soft, creamy dessert. 🌟 #NewYork 🌟
