We decided to indulge in some serious meat at Houstonās famous Truth BBQ. š Dinner service starts at 5 PM, but Iād recommend arriving around 4:30 to line upānot only is there always a crowd, but parking fills up fast! Since we had a big group, we split up: I joined the line while our driver found parking. From start to finish, it took us 50 minutes from queueing to eating. š®āšØ The only bummer? By the time we reached the counter, the pork ribs were already sold out! šø Check out the menu in Image ! If youāre dining solo, go for the Combo Plate or try one of their sandwiches (the Bahn Mi looked especially tempting!). As for the BBQāevery single meat was a hit. We couldnāt stop marveling at how incredibly flavorful everything was! š¤¤ If itās your first time, a good rule of thumb is to order around half a pound per person. š» They also offer a great selection of local beers and drinks. The sides? Absolutely legendaryāyou can tell theyāre made with care! Must-tries: Brussels Sprouts and Potato Salad! ā ļø Heads up: the sides are huge. A single portion is easily enough for 2-3 people.
