The $50 omakase in Canada was seriously out of this world! ππ£
β¨ The small dishes were absolutely stunning! The egg custard with caviar was silky smooth and delicious. Even for someone like me who usually dislikes fish roe, there was no fishy taste at all! The dessert β matcha ice cream β had an intense matcha flavor and was soooo yummy. π΅π¨ β¨ The highlight was definitely the hand-pressed sushi β it was incredible! Iβm someone who doesn't typically enjoy raw fish or sashimi... Usually, I prefer grilled options, but this time, I finished everything! π£ Each piece of fish was fresh, tender, and had zero fishiness. The chef prepared the sushi right in front of us, and the sauce was perfectly brushed onto each piece. No need to dip it in anything else; it was flavorful enough on its own! Even the vinegared rice was perfectly balanced β soft, firm, and with just the right level of acidity. ππ― β¨ The chef and the lovely lady serving us were both so kind and attentive. The lunch set was only a little over $50 per person β such great value! You do need to book in advance on their website, and it takes a bit of time, but trust me, itβs worth every minute of waiting! All of my friends were so happy with their meals too! ππ₯³ β¨ Right next door, there are some cute second-hand shops, perfect for a stroll after a satisfying meal. They have lots of adorable little items, and the prices are really affordable! ποΈ #Vancouver #LifeInNorthAmerica #CanadaLiving #FoodieDaily #Sushi #VancouverSushi #VancouverEats #VancouverOmakase #HandPressedSushi #Omakase ### Name: Itosugi Kappo Cuisine Address: 3648 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6R 2B7 Type: Restaurant ###
