The Bavarian Bierhaus | What to Eat in Milwaukee ๐๐บ
๐ Location: 700 W Lexington Blvd (about 15-20 mins from downtown Milwaukee) This is a huge beer hall ๐ป โ perfect for watching games! They have their own brewery inside, and the waitresses even wear traditional Drindl dresses ๐ โ such a cool vibe! We actually came right after doing the Lakefront Brewery Tour, so we were already pretty full on beer ๐ . But I still tried their Black Bird IPA โ a classic! Not too complex, with notes of caramel + sweetness ๐ฏ, bright citrus ๐, and a mild bitter finish. Perfect for that windy Midwest weather ๐ฌ๏ธ๐ฎ๐จ. By the way โ the Lakefront Brewery Tour is great! $17 per person including 4 beer samples ๐ฅด. Definitely worth a stop if youโre in the area. Now for the food: ๐ Oven Baked Pork Shank Came with the skin on โ did not disappoint! Smoky, juicy, and better than the one I remember from Mรคderโs. ๐ท Fried Pigskin ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ๐คฉ! Fried perfectly โ still a bit moist inside. Served with seasoned salt and cheddar sauceโฆ life-changing ๐๐ง. ๐ง Beef Rouladen, Sausage Trio, Cheese Plate Beef rolls + sausage platter + giant Lunchable-style board. Nothing special, but decent. ๐ฐ Total for three: $140 Great spot if youโre craving German food, beer, and a lively atmosphere! ๐ฅจ๐ #MadisonEats #MilwaukeeFood #GermanBeerHall #BavarianBierhaus #WisconsinDIning #BeerLover
