The best German pork knuckle in New York is at Heidelberg! š
Itās all about the pork knuckle and beer! š» The skin of the pork knuckle is super crispy! The meat is so flavorful!š The side dishesāpotato salad, radish, and sauerkrautāare all amazing and really cut through the richness! š„ Their sausages are also super delicious! So satisfying! š I ordered Warsteiner beer, which was really good!𤩠Itās truly my new happy place! I love it so much! ā¤ļø Four girls ordered two āpork shank plates for two,ā and we couldnāt finish it all. I think three girls sharing one plate would be perfect. š„© The average cost per person is $42. šŖ ā ļø Note: Reservations are required for groups of five or more. If you cancel within one hour before the meal, itās free. However, if you cancel after that or donāt show up, each person will be charged a $40 cancellation fee. (Walk-ins are totally fine, at least when we went for dinner on Tuesday, the restaurant wasnāt full.) Special note: If you book a party of five but one friend canāt make it and you end up with four people, it will still be treated as a cancellation and youāll have to pay the fee. So if your group drops below five, be sure to let the restaurant know in advance. š Restaurant Name: Heidelberg Restaurant Address: 1648 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10028 #GermanRoastPorkKnuckle #NYCGermanRestaurant š
