The Best Japanese Hot Pot Is Right Here at This Izakaya 🌟

After being overwhelmed by the flavors at Hakata TonTon’s beef intestine hot pot, I decided to give Japanese nabe another try, and I finally found the ultimate hot pot experience! This unassuming izakaya in Midtown East is a hidden gem. The space is cozy and usually easy to book. There’s a giant maneki-neko (lucky cat) sign outside, which adds a festive touch. 🐱 ✅✅✅ Chiritori Nabe: There are four options to choose from, differing in whether they include 🐷 pork intestines and spiciness, and one even offers pig’s trotters. The smallest serving is for two people. The broth is a mix of pork bone and chicken stock, so it’s not overly greasy. On a cold day, there’s nothing better than enjoying some warm, comforting dishes and meat. 🍲 ✅✅ Osaka-Yaki: Judging by the tables around me, this seems to be a must-order. It’s packed with ingredients, and the sauce is lighter compared to other izakayas. Highly recommended! 🍖 Other common snacks like fried tofu, yakitori, and Japanese pan-fried dumplings are all pretty good, but I’d still suggest saving some room for the hot pot. Next time, I’m definitely trying their ramen! 🍜 📍 Lucky Cat 232 E 53rd St, New York, NY 10022 #NewYorkFoodRecommendation #DeliciousNYCRestaurants 🌟
