The Best New York Cantonese Food That Will Make You Cry with Joy (2)๐ฅข
๐ The deep-fried water shield fish was a hit, especially with my British friend, who even considered moving to New York after tasting it. The fish is steamed to perfection, with the bone-in parts fried and soaked in the flavorful broth, making it incredibly aromatic. ๐ ๐ท The dried plum pork ribs were a delightful surprise. The ribs are dry and fragrant, almost like they've been roasted, with a sweet and tangy flavor that's perfectly infused. ๐ The high-wen si tofu is based on chicken broth and garnished with ham shreds. ๐However, it was just average, and the wood ear mushroom shreds were a bit too thick. ๐ We also ordered steamed clams with egg, which I forgot to photograph. Personally, I found it a bit bland, and unfortunately, my first few bites had sand in them. But my friends thought it was pretty good. ๐ Overall, no matter what you order, it's a safe bet! I'm genuinely envious of the Chinese food in NYC! ๐ #CantoneseFood #NewYorkDelicious #NewYorkRestaurant #NewYorkEats ๐๐
