On my last full day in New York City, I had one mission: find incredible tacos. And I found them—at lostacosno1! This place is a vibe: fresh, fast, friendly, and full of flavor. The staff are warm and welcoming, and if you speak Spanish, even better—it just adds to the authentic, lively atmosphere. 💬❤️ There’s often a line (a good sign!), but today moved quickly with only about six people ahead of me. Once you order, you join the assembly line and watch your food being prepared right in front of you—transparent, fresh, and full of care. They ask if you prefer flour or corn tortillas, then offer a range of free toppings: onions, cilantro, guacamole, salsa—all vibrant and freshly made. 🧅🌿🥑 I ordered: One Corn Taco 🌽 One “With Everything” Quesadilla 🧀🔥 A Horchata 🥤💛 – Sweet, cinnamony, and so refreshing. I don’t even know what’s in it—and I don’t care. It’s just that good. Seating is limited to stand-up ledges, so it’s perfect for a quick and satisfying bite. You can also take your food to go. The ledges are stocked with napkins, utensils, and extra toppings—thoughtful and practical. What a brilliant concept. I’m so glad to know they have locations across the country!
