The Best Taro Balls in New York's Chinatown ๐ŸŒŸ

I finally tried the most delicious taro balls in Chinatown! The shop is called Wuchang Good Taste, and I initially thought it was related to Wuchang in Wuhan, haha. Only after visiting did I realize itโ€™s actually from Taiwan, and it seems the ownerโ€™s name is Wuchang. ๐ŸŽˆ Two of us ordered Taro Balls with Burnt Grass Jelly, Sour Cabbage Pork Chop Rice, and Salt and Pepper Chicken for just $24.5! ๐Ÿฅข No tip required, which is a big plus! ๐Ÿ’ฐ ๐Ÿฎ Taro Balls with Burnt Grass Jelly The texture is different from what Iโ€™ve had in China. Itโ€™s sticky and chewy, with a refreshing mix of mung beans, red beans, and peanuts. The grass jelly is soft and adds a nice contrast. ๐Ÿฎ ๐Ÿš Sour Cabbage Pork Chop Rice The pork chop is perfectly crispy and pairs so well with the tangy sour cabbage. We were pretty hungry, and this dish really hit the spot! ๐Ÿ– ๐Ÿ— Salt and Pepper Chicken These are like crispy chicken nuggets, perfect for snacking. We had some leftovers, so we took them home to enjoy with beer! ๐Ÿป #Chinatown ๐ŸŒ† #NYCChinatown ๐Ÿ”
