The Charming Town of Brno, Czech Republi
🍀After a train ride from Budapest via Vienna, I arrived in the quaint southwestern Czech town of Brno. 🕘 Work Visit 🍀On May 14, I was slightly late (oops!) but was warmly welcomed by David (a handsome biz guy—no photo, sadly) into a cozy office filled with plants, rugs, and quirky decor. 🍀 The product manager, Dino, was equally delightful—we had a fun, relaxed 2-hour chat, and he even showed us pics of his 🐶, which he takes everywhere! Post-meeting, Dino gave us a warehouse tour and tried to gift us wine (which I heroically lugged back to China… they owe me!). 💦Good people = good vibes. Certified ✨Premium Client✨. 🏰 Exploring Brno 💦Since work wrapped in half a day but my boss insisted on a 3-day stay, I turned tourist: 🔍 Hidden Gems 🌈Water Tanks: A century-old underground sewer system—missable without a guidebook, but totally worth it! 🌈Fruit Market: Lively central square with local flair. 🌈Špilberk Castle: Brno’s highest point (mostly Czech exhibits). Shot tons of sunny footage on my Pocket3! 🚶 Compact Old Town = Walkable in <1h. Hopped on random trams but headed home by 8 PM—streets get eerily empty after dark. 📖 Fun Fact: Brno is Milan Kundera’s hometown, though I found no traces. Dino (a well-traveled local) says he still misses Czechia most. #HiddenGems #Brno #CzechRepublic #OldTown #TravelDiaries
