The Dishes I Enjoyed at SAGA ๐
Seafood Platter Scallops, caviar, abalone, lobsterโit has it all, and each ingredient is incredibly fresh and delicious. ๐ฆช ๐ธ๐ Caviar Paired with soft-boiled eggs and sauce, the interplay of salty and sweet creates a rich, layered texture. ๐ฃ Fried Pumpkin Crispy like crackers, served with a side dish. The sweet flavor is quite stunning at first bite, though it can get a bit cloying if you eat too much. White Truffle Pasta The white truffle complements the rich white sauce and small dumplings perfectly. The savory aroma is spot-on, and I absolutely loved it. ๐ ๐ธ๐ Black Bass Accompanied by clams, scallops, and radish, the dish is tangy and savory, making for a delightful and appetizing flavor. ๐ Dry-Aged Duck It has a hint of Chinese cuisine, reminiscent of braised duck. Itโs absolutely delicious. ๐ Moroccan Mint Tea The sweet, minty Moroccan tea is a bit too sweet for my taste. Taking a sip feels like stepping into John Wickโs shoes in Morocco, ready to meet the Elder. ๐ ๐ธ๐ Mini Cake Since it was my birthday, the restaurant gifted me an adorable mini cake. Itโs not overly sweet and is quite delightful. ๐ Ice Cream Dessert Topped with crisp flakes of moderate thickness, the texture is fantastic, and the overall flavor is very enjoyable. ๐ฆ Summing up: ๐ธ๐ SAGA is definitely one of my favorite Michelin restaurants recently. The food is top-notch, ranking among the best in the two-star category. Coupled with the 63rd-floor night view and the unique sense of ceremony, the experience is greatly enhanced. I really hope other New York restaurants can take a leaf out of its book! ๐๐ #Michelin ๐
