The flavors of Nice Sicily are all about seafood ......

📍 Sapori di Sicilia (Flavors of Sicily) Every time I dine here, I can't help but think of Chongqing Chicken Pot! 🥳 Besides Yang Ji Long Fu and Shancheng Old Hall in Chongqing, I've had countless servings of Chongqing Chicken Pot in other cities in China. It's spicy, fresh, and incredibly delicious, with tender chicken that melts in your mouth. Just like Sapori di Sicilia, this place is above average even in Sicily, Italy. In Nice, it would definitely rank in the top three! 🍕 Every time I eat here, I'm reminded of Chicken Pot. Dining experience: A feast for the eyes, nose, and palate—truly satisfying! 😋 This restaurant specializes in authentic Sicilian cuisine, with standout dishes like seafood pasta, seafood risotto, and black truffle pizza. Each dish is delicious! Especially the seafood 🦞 pasta and seafood pizza. After finishing the pasta, I almost want to lick the remaining sauce from the plate. The seafood pasta is loaded with seafood; the plate is almost covered by the seafood, as seen in Picture 1. In the old town, most seafood pasta dishes have more pasta than seafood, with maybe just one large shrimp per plate. Their pizza features fresh seafood on a crispy crust, offering a burst of flavor with every bite—it's truly a happiness overload! I really love these popular dishes that are not only flavorful but also generously portioned! In comparison, Nice also has Michelin-starred restaurants, with one and two stars (no three stars). But in my personal experience, Michelin restaurants feel more like a "visual feast." A meal can take 3.5 to 4.5 hours, from aperitifs to appetizers, main courses, desserts, and fruit. The plating is as exquisite as art, with pleasing color combinations, but the portions are really small! After spending over 4 hours, I might still not be full. 😅 I feel like Michelin places focus more on presentation, and after a while, I prefer the down-to-earth dining experience offered by places like this. Quick service and attentive staff—super impressive! 👍 One big advantage of Sapori di Sicilia is the fast service! Every time I visit during meal times, the restaurant is already bustling with customers, but the time from ordering to receiving the food is usually no more than 10 minutes. The efficiency is truly remarkable! 👏 Although the restaurant is small, the owner manages it exceptionally well, and the staff are very热情. They clearly prioritize the diners' experience, ensuring no one waits around idly. These details really make me feel comfortable! Pros and cons at a glance: Pros: - Authentic flavors, generous portions, and great value for money! You can have a satisfying meal for an average of 15-20 euros. - Fast service and attentive staff, even during peak dining hours. - The owner is Sicilian, and the dishes are very authentic, especially the seafood and pizza. Highly recommended! Another highlight: The restrooms are large and clean, as seen in Picture 9. 👍 Cons: - It's a bit far from the Old Town (Vieux Nice) and Baie des Anges. It might take more than 20 minutes on foot. Friends staying near Vauban will find it much more convenient. - The restaurant is small, and during meal times, it might get a bit crowded. It's advisable to arrive early to avoid waiting. #RomanticLifeRecorder #NiceTravel #SouthOfFranceHoliday #FrenchTravelDiary #France #Provence #NoPriceGouging #SouthOfFranceCuisine #SouthOfFranceLife
