The Four Heavenly Kings ๐๐ฏ
The Five-Story Pagoda is the most important structure, very conspicuous, and visible from every angle within the temple grounds. ๐ธ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ This five-tiered wooden pagoda has a reliquary at the top, housing six sarira (Buddhist relics), as well as murals of Sakyamuni and wooden statues of the Four Heavenly Kings. ๐ฟ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ Located at the center alongside the Five-Story Pagoda is the Golden Hall, which primarily enshrines Guanyin, protected by the Four Heavenly Kings. ๐ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ The temple also has a unique feature: behind the lecture hall, there is a pond called the Turtle Pond. ๐ข In the middle of the pond is a stone stage, which was used for ancient rituals and dances dedicated to the deities, making it a very sacred place. ๐บ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ The Turtle Pond is home to a large group of turtles that swim about and climb onto the rocks in the pond to bask in the sun. ๐ #OsakaTravel ๐ #JapanTravel ๐ผ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐
