The Four Heavenly Kings 🌟🏯

The Five-Story Pagoda is the most important structure, very conspicuous, and visible from every angle within the temple grounds. 🌸 🌸🌺🌿🍃 This five-tiered wooden pagoda has a reliquary at the top, housing six sarira (Buddhist relics), as well as murals of Sakyamuni and wooden statues of the Four Heavenly Kings. 🌿 🌸🌺🌿🍃 Located at the center alongside the Five-Story Pagoda is the Golden Hall, which primarily enshrines Guanyin, protected by the Four Heavenly Kings. 🍃 🌸🌺🌿🍃 The temple also has a unique feature: behind the lecture hall, there is a pond called the Turtle Pond. 🐢 In the middle of the pond is a stone stage, which was used for ancient rituals and dances dedicated to the deities, making it a very sacred place. 🌺 🌸🌺🌿🍃 The Turtle Pond is home to a large group of turtles that swim about and climb onto the rocks in the pond to bask in the sun. 🌞 #OsakaTravel 🌍 #JapanTravel 🗼🌸🌺🌿🍃
