The Frida Museum is the Casa Azul of my heart

💕Visit the Frida Kahlo Museum on a weekend when the sun is shining beautifully I really like the official exhibition introduction: “Un lugar lleno de lugares.” 💕It’s a museum, a home, Frida’s window to the world, a sanctuary for Frida’s soul, the meeting place with Diego Rivera, and where Frida pursued communism. 💕Our favorite part of the entire museum is the courtyard, where the afternoon light is wonderful, the vibrant green plants casting beautiful shadows on the blue walls. 💕The museum is located in Coyoacan; we first went to the market, but I didn’t find anything I particularly liked, so I only bought three postcards. To be honest, the value for money isn’t that great either; the handcrafted bags were more expensive than the stalls at the base of the Teotihuacan pyramids. In the end, I bought a fridge magnet inside the museum, a bit pricier but very beautiful. 💕It’s a short walk from the market to the museum, and the whole way, it feels very leisurely, reminiscent of strolling in Chengdu’s Yulin Citywalk 🥺 #Frida #FridaKahloMuseum #MexicoTravel #Mexico #CulturalSightsToShare
