The Happiest Museum in Paris That Makes You Feel Young Again 🎪🎉
If it weren't for my local friend's enthusiastic recommendation, the Musée des Arts Forains probably wouldn't have made it onto my itinerary. My friend made a reservation early on, and we managed to get a French-guided tour (adults 18.8€), even though we missed out on the English one. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, the comedic tour guide was full of passion and humor. The overall experience lasted about 1.5 hours, and we had a lot of fun. The museum is located in the 12th arrondissement, near the Bercy station, and was formerly a famous wine warehouse. It specializes in displaying amusement art from the late 19th to the early 20th century, with a vast collection of amusement rides, automatic music machines, puppet shows, carousels, and more. Fun activities: 🎢▪️ Horse Racing and Coffee Serving Boys Divided into groups of 12, you head the ball into a machine to determine the number of steps forward based on your score. The first one to reach the finish line wins. It's incredibly exciting. 🎢▪️ Century-Old Carousel The carousel that you might have looked down upon as an adult turns out to bring thrilling happiness! The century-old horses and boats are so dreamlike. 🎢▪️ Speed Riding (Bicycle Ferris Wheel) The grand finale of the exhibition! A 1897 bicycle is brought back to life in an era where pedal-powered rides have long been out of the historical stage. Everyone pedals their bicycles as fast as they can, making the wheel spin faster and faster, beyond imagination, thrilling and fun! #ParisItinerary #HappiestMuseumInParis #ParisCarnivalArtMuseum #DailyPlog #MuseeDesArtsForains #RecorderOfRomanticLife #JoyfulMomentsInDailyLife #Paris
