The Joy of Yemeni Coffee and Honey Cheese Bread 🌟
A few years ago, I first tried Yemeni coffee and honey cheese bread at Qahwah House in Brooklyn. It was a game-changer—I was absolutely blown away and couldn’t stop thinking about it. Not only is it rare and unique, but it also really suits Asian palates. I was over the moon when they opened a new store in the West Village! 🌟 Both the coffee and desserts at this place are highly recommended: 🍞 Khaliat Alnahl Also known as honeycomb bread, it’s filled with cheese. Fresh out of the oven and still warm, drizzled with honey—it’s incredibly delicious. 🍞🍯 🍞 Sabaya This is also a popular choice—a honey flaky pastry. It’s more common and very crispy and sweet. It’s good, but I find it a bit too sweet and it can get cloying after a few bites. 🥧 ☕️ Mofawar Coffee A cardamom and cream latte that you can customize the sweetness level. It feels like drinking a cup of milk tea. 🍵 ☕️ Yemeni Tea A pure, non-dairy tea that’s very fragrant and soothing. 🍃 📍 WV: 13 Carmine St, New York, NY 10014 📍 BK: 162 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211 #ChroniclerOfARomanticLife 🌟
