The Korean cuisine in New York--Oiji

—————— Oiji Bowl: Sea Urchin and Sweet Prawn Rice 🦐 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Please, you must order this!! The sea urchin and sweet prawns are incredibly fresh, sweet, and tender. The base is sushi rice mixed with nori, topped with a raw egg yolk. Break the yolk and mix everything together with chopsticks 🥢, accompanied by refreshing pickles, each bite is a blissful assault on the taste buds 💕. The serving size is quite small, though. Since you're there, promise me not to share!! Scallops "Hwe": Scallop Salad 🥗 This dish is incredibly visually appealing! Thin slices of scallop sashimi are stacked on top, with a salad of snow crab meat, jellyfish, and cucumber 🥒 at the bottom. A touch of wasabi is added to enhance the freshness, making it incredibly refreshing, the taste of summer. Fried Chicken 🍗 Their fried chicken is amazing!! The breading is crispy and paper-thin, perfectly sealing in the juices of the chicken itself. The tangy and delicious vinegar sauce at the bottom not only cuts through the greasiness but also enriches the texture, making it another must-order dish. Bone Marrow: Beef Bone Marrow 🍖 I never expected the beef bone marrow to be this good! The marrow at the bottom is extremely fragrant, and the beef rib meat on top is marinated with barbecue sauce to perfection. The accompanying rice crisps have a hint of vinegar, perfectly balancing the richness of the bone marrow. We were almost full when this dish arrived, but after one bite, we exchanged a "Da*n good" look and continued to dig in without words. —————— 🍴Oiji 📍119 1st Ave, New York, NY 10003 #Oiji#New York#food diary #Korean cuisine
