The Malaysian Tea House in New York--Kopitiam

—————— Malaysian Style Milo French Toast 🍞 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thickly sliced bread dipped in egg batter and fried to a crispy perfection, topped with Milo cocoa powder and condensed milk, incredibly indulgent yet delightful. Bel-Kopi ☕️ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A must-try! The coffee has a strong char-grilled aroma with a rich, creamy aftertaste. Kaya Toast 🍞 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 Freshly toasted thick slices of bread filled with sweet kaya spread, infused with the fragrance of pandan. The classic way to enjoy it is with a dip in smooth, slightly salty half-boiled eggs. Eat it while it's hot for the crispiest bread! Their kaya spread is also available for purchase, and I bought a jar to take home for my bread. Lobak 🫔 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫 Crispy fried tofu skin wrapped around seasoned minced pork, the meat is well-marinated and slightly sweet, bursting with juices when you bite into it. Oh Chien 🍳 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The taste is excellent, with a thick omelette that's tender and has a slightly sticky, smooth texture. More oysters would be a bonus. Coconut Milk Rice 🍛 🌟🌟🌟🌟 A classic mix of salty and sweet dried fish, eggs, peanuts, and chili sauce with rice. The salty dried fish has a hint of sweetness, and it's recommended to mix everything well before eating. Dry Pan Mee 🍝 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The dish is incredibly rich in ingredients! It includes dried fish, minced pork, mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, and spinach. The noodles are my favorite kind – wide and chewy, with a strong seafood flavor. —————— 💛Kopitiam 📍151 E Broadway, New York, NY 10002 #New York#Kopitiam#food diary# Tea House
