The New York Chelsea Market is super hot for Italian pizza 🍕
Chelsea Market gets so crowded on weekends—I never bother going on my own usually! But this time, I brought my dad along to check it out, and finally got to tick off this pizza spot I’ve been eyeing for ages. 🍕 🍴 Filaga 📍 Inside Chelsea Market It totally feels like a local favorite—when I was there, I was the only Asian in the line! There were quite a few people, but luckily the wait wasn’t long—phew! 😅 We ordered three kinds: one with broccoli rabe and sausage, another with tomato chili sauce and salami, and the third with cheese 🧀, mushrooms 🍄, and ham. Verdict: 100% recommend the third one—【Cotto e Funghi】! The first two were both pretty salty, and the second one? Way too salty for my taste. It looked super tasty, but the salami cranked up the saltiness big time—though the crust with the sauce was actually pretty flavorful. 😬 The third one, though? Chef’s kiss! 👩🍳💋 The mushrooms were fresh and savory, the ham was just the right level of salty, and there wasn’t too much cheese—perfect balance. Plus, the crust was exactly my type—chewy with a nice thickness. Yum! Overall, it’s worth a try if you’re in Chelsea Market—just be ready for some options to be on the salty side. #DailyEats #NYC #NYCFood #NYC #NYCDaily #Pizza #NYCStudyAbroad #NYCPizza #ItalianPizza #NYCWeekend #StudentFoodie #NYCRestaurants
