The Paris Museum of Arts and Crafts
Today I visited the Musée des Arts et Métiers, and it was totally worth it! This is a low-key yet incredibly rich museum, perfect for all those who love science, engineering, and art 💡. Best of all: free admission for under 26s! The museum is filled with an array of exhibits, ranging from vintage machinery, early industrial inventions to precision instruments, and even a real Foucault aircraft hanging in the exhibition hall 🚀. Each piece tells the story of human ingenuity, offering a fully immersive experience! ✨ Highlight Recommendations: Foucault’s Pendulum: A classic experiment reenacted, giving you a direct sense of the Earth’s rotation. Historical mechanical models: Intriguing and intricate, perfectly showcasing the glory of the Industrial Revolution. Vintage vehicles and airplanes: Especially the airplane model on the ceiling, perfect for photo ops! 📍 Location: The museum is conveniently located in the center of Paris. 🎟 Admission: There is an entry fee for visitors over 26 who are non-EU residents. Ticket prices may vary, so it’s recommended to check the museum’s official website or contact them directly for the latest information. Additionally, the museum is free for everyone on the first Sunday of each month and after 18:00 on Thursdays. ⏱ Suggested Visit Time: 1.5-2 hours. 🔗 Tip: It’s a good idea to learn about the background of the exhibits beforehand or bring a friend curious about science to enjoy this wonderful journey through “technology and history” together. #ParisMuseumRecommendations #MuséedesArtsetMétiers #ParisTravel #ParisOneDayTour
