The Peninsula Tokyo, Worth the Experience (Part 1) π
For this Tokyo trip, I decided to stay for four nights. Since I didn't feel like packing and unpacking my suitcase every day, I chose not to switch hotels midway. π’π When planning, I spent a long time choosing. Believing that accommodation is an essential part of the experience, I decided to indulge a bit. πΊπ Among the many five-star options, I compared Bvlgari and Aman. The prices of over ten thousand yen per night felt too steep, especially since we'd mostly be out shopping, so I skipped those. π’π I also compared hotels like Andaz and The Ritz-Carlton but didn't find many standout features. πΊπJust then, Typhoon "Shan Shan" was slowly swirling around Japan. I, who had been watching others get affected, finally got hit myself. I was worried whether the typhoon would affect our flight and whether the rain would ruin our shopping plans. π’π So, after much consideration, I chose The Peninsula Tokyo. Its underground floor is right next to the subway station, and it's also very close to the heart of Ginza. πΊπ It's a bit old-fashioned, but since there are only 12 Peninsula hotels worldwide, I thought it would be a good experience. π¨ #Tokyo #LuxuryTravel ππ
