We flew all the way from Ireland for a fantastic four-day holiday in San Francisco! Having booked three months in advance, we secured a great price for this well-located and highly-rated hotel—what’s not to love? The location is absolutely ideal. We took a $65 Uber ride from the airport and arrived late at night, but check-in was smooth and hassle-free. For breakfast, we headed next door to the IHOP café every morning—delicious, consistent, and reasonably priced! 🥞☕ Our room had everything we needed, though we would have appreciated a full-length mirror and better lighting near a natural light source (a small but thoughtful touch that would make a big difference, especially for women getting ready!). That said, the view from our room was fantastic—if only the outside windows had been cleaner, it would have been even more breathtaking! 🪞🌆 The hotel staff were warm and welcoming, and the on-site travel desk offered helpful advice and easy tour bookings. The hotel also features a bar and burger spot, but with beers priced at $10 per bottle, we noticed many guests bringing their own takeout to enjoy around the cozy fire pit—a great way to save money and still enjoy the ambiance! You can even order delivery to the hotel. 🍔🔥 One important heads-up: After reading previous reviews, I emailed the hotel in advance to confirm there were no hidden fees. I was assured there were none, but we were still charged a $75 per night deposit, totaling $300. While refundable, it was an unexpected hold on my funds during the trip—so definitely plan accordingly! 💳⚠️ Overall, this hotel offered excellent value, comfort, and convenience.
