The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel | Upper East Side, New York (2)🌟

The grid design of the ceiling makes the room height feel less oppressive, and the hotel is incredibly bright, which is quite rare in Europe and America. 🌟 🍃🌸 The complimentary fruit provided by the hotel was quite delicious, though the evening turndown service only left water—better than nothing! 🍇 The toiletries are from Antica Farmacista, specially provided for the hotel. They have a niche and very sophisticated scent—I absolutely loved them! 🛁 The paintings in the hallways and the lobby on the first floor are all very beautiful. The entire hotel is filled with an artistic vibe without being overly ornate—a perfect balance! 🎨 🍃🌸 The doormen greet you and open the doors whenever you come and go. You can also take the hotel’s car to nearby areas, and valet parking is available without additional fees, though tips are always appreciated. 🚗 During my three-day stay, I noticed that people coming and going were very formally dressed, mostly white, and they were all using the hotel’s big black SUVs. 🕶️ 🍃🌸The Surrey isn’t among the top-priced hotels in New York, but it felt a bit expensive to me. Although it has a homely feel, the value for money isn’t high considering the hotel’s small scale. The location is perfect, right on Madison Avenue, making shopping extremely convenient. The Upper East Side streets are much cleaner and more comfortable compared to other parts of New York, and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. 🌟 If you come during the off-season and get a good deal, it’s worth staying here, or you could try The Carlyle. After experiencing the quiet Upper East Side, the big hotels in Midtown just don’t appeal to me anymore. 🏨 #NewYorkHotels #HistoricHotels 🌟
