The Tiramisu God of This Little Shop in New York 🌟

Sometimes you just crave that one (not too) sweet bite, and I remembered this hidden gem near the East Village that I haven’t written about yet. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! 😋 📍 Cafe 2BY2, 84 E 10th, hidden on the second floor 🕸️ This pastry shop is something special. Their tiramisu has a melt-in-your-mouth texture, with the perfect balance of cream and mascarpone, so it’s not greasy at all. 🍰 Northerners get excited by the “dark cuisine” combination of pork floss, seaweed, and taro! Although the price isn’t cheap, the taste and texture are worth it! 💰 🍰 Seaweed Pork Floss Taro Tiramisu Surprisingly harmonious! The top is covered with crunchy pork floss and seaweed crumbs, with a savory aroma. The taro paste in the middle is smooth and dense, combined with the light cream. Technically, it’s not tiramisu since there’s no coffee or ladyfingers, but it’s more like a box cake—and it’s incredibly delicious! For those from Singapore and Malaysia, it feels like eating an Ayam Floss Bun but in a fancy dessert version. 🌸 🍮 Classic Tiramisu If you want to play it safe, the classic version is always a good choice. 🌟 🍰 Next time, I want to try the black sesame, pistachio, and matcha flavors! What other strange but delicious combinations have you tried? Let’s chat in the comments! 🗨️ #HiddenGem #PastryHeaven 🌺
