The Toys ‘R’ Us Comeback: Inside The Nostalgic New Flagship Store Just 1 Hour From NYC

It was announced on October 16th that the iconic chain would be welcoming 30 new locations this holiday season, one of which will be located just an hour from NYC! The new permanent flagship location will be located in Deer Park, NY, at Tanger Outlets! In addition to the new hotspot, the outlet mall features over 95 brand name and designer outlet stores , making it a perfect, easy-to-get-to spot for holiday shopping. How to get to Tanger Outlets from NYC ----------------------------------------- Between a direct LIRR line and a free shuttle, it’s easy to head over to the outlets for some holiday nostalgia and to cross some gift shopping off of your to-do list! * Take the Ronkonkoma Branch LIRR from New York Penn Station (Manhattan) * Get off at the Deer Park station * From the Deer Park station, there is a complimentary shuttle service that takes you directly to the outlets For those located Upstate, a seasonal Toys ‘R Us store will also be making its way to Walden Galleria ! This store is coming alongside more than 20 “pop-up” shops throughout the country. These 30 new locations are making a new era for Toys “R” Us, which sadly closed its doors in 2018 following bankruptcy.
